I recommed this lamp. I love the street lamp style. Height brightens up the whole room. I used the long day light blub, looks best.Got this for a wedding shower. They love it.These look great and work great. I use them for staging and they always bring a classy farmhouse look to the rooms. They aren’t the tallest floor lamps I’ve used but they are very on-style.Great cost and qualityLove the lamp. It was exactly what I wanted. Super easy to put together.Love the weight and balance of this lamp. The seeded glass gives it a vintage feel. I added an Edison bulb to complete the style. It would be more convenient if the on/off switch (located on cord) was closer to the lamp. A dimmer option would also be nice.this is one of my favorite things i’ve purchased! i got a good price on prime day, and i’m so glad i bought it! this lamp is sleek, bright, and compliments my room. a teeny bit wobbly, but understandable as it is too heavy, and it definitely will not topple over. i’m very happy with it!These lamps are nice, but I cannot give a full 5-star review, and here’s why …1) There was this white sticky substance on the wiring, and it’s definitely noticeable if you look down at it (see picture).2) There was a piece of glass in the packaging that I almost cut my finger on when I opened it (pictured). I checked the glass piece of the lamp, and it doesn’t seem that there are any chips anywhere, so I don’t know where that shard of glass came from.3) These lamps are kind of cheaply made for how expensive they are. They’re just not as nice as I expected them to be. The bottom piece is heavy, but not heavy enough for me to not be nervous about the lamp ever falling.4) The thought of these lamps seemed so cool, but I did not think about the actual functionality of them. Because the lamp shade is glass, these lamps are VERY hard on the eyes. We tried 3 different kinds of lightbulbs (which were very hard to find, by the way), and even the dimmest amber-colored one is still very bright. If you even look in the general direction of the lamp, you’re seeing white dots for a while. And even so, the lamps don’t even light up the room! This part is obviously my fault for not thinking about it, but it’s something to point out.5) DO NOT try to peel the stickers off of the black part inside of the lamp shade. The paint will peel off and it is noticeable since the lampshades are clear glass. (Pictured)Overall, we still like the lamps, and we got used to the lighting of them, but thinking back, I might’ve chosen something else.We bought two of these to stick behind our bedside tables for reading lamps in our bedroom and it's a good thing they are behind little tables because they are hella flimsy. They wobble, are really lightweight stands/bases but heavy glass tops so they tend to teeter, and they do not sit flat at the base so they are lopsided. We pinched them between our tables and the wall so they look good where they are now but I would definitely not get these for a main area of my house as a standalone lamp. (They look like the picture but think quality just below Walmart or Ikea)I’m not one to put reviews but I feel compelled to do so with some negative reviews that almost steered me into not ordering. I’m glad I took the chance! I ordered 2 and they arrived 2 days early in perfect packaging. Super easy to put together alone. Might have taken me all of 15 minutes each and that was including unpacking. Not sure how reviews says they were difficult to put together with the need of 2 people?! SMH! Wire is already through the base. Put the main posts together with 2 screws( line up the holes) add the base, remove the light collar and put the glass on, screw in your lightbulb and voila. All tools included! I’m ordering a 3rd. Lovely, slim and modern - goes with so much decor.
